Notre Dame High School is pleased to announce the events associated with the 2016 Homecoming game versus Sacred Heart Ville Platte on Friday, October 7. The festivities begin at 5:30 pm Thursday, October 6th when the annual Homecoming Parade rolls North on Parkerson from the Crowley Court Circle. The parade turns right onto Northern, right on Eastern and ends at the Notre Dame campus, where a pep rally will be held. Immediately following the pep rally, the Notre Dame High School Gumbo Cookoff will be held on the track surrounding the practice field. Team entry forms are available by calling the Notre Dame Development Office at 783-7143 (there is no entry fee for teams). Individual tickets are $5 and are available at Notre Dame High School. All funds raised will benefit the Notre Dame Teacher Benefit Fund. All Notre Dame, St. Joseph High School, St. Michael High School and St. Francis High School Alumni are invited to celebrate Mass and participate in our Living Rosary with our students and faculty on October 7 at 12:00 p.m. in the A.B. Dore Memorial Gym. We also invite alumni and friends to join us on October 7 at 2:00 pm for our annual Homecoming Pep Rally in the gym. The week's festivities will conclude with the football game on Friday evening when the Pioneers take on the Trojans of Sacred Heart Ville Platte. Prior to the game, a reception will be held beginning at 6:15 pm at Gardiner Memorial Stadium honoring the Notre Dame High School Classes of 1977, 1987, 1997, and 2007, as well as the 1957 and 1967 classes of St. Joseph High School, St. Michael High School and St. Francis High School. The 2016 Notre Dame Homecoming Court will be introduced during halftime. Kickoff is 7:00 pm.
